Having been both a prosecutor and defender, William Paton realized there was a need for law manuals that were easy to reference and always updated. He began practicing law in 1961 and has been writing such manuals for over 35 years. In 1977, he formed Hanford Publishing Company with the goal of producing the most comprehensive and current legal manuals possible to help attorneys with their case arguments and research.
What distinguishes our manuals is their disciplined organization which provides attorneys with IMMEDIATE ACCESS to current appellate cases. This IMMEDIATE ACCESS gives the subscriber the advantage in court and significantly reduces research time when not in court.
